Mission

The mission of the Urooncology Association is to become a contemporary, respected, and leading institution on an international scale that can enlighten broad audiences in the field of urological oncology by enhancing communication with national and international institutions and associations, designing and implementing studies, preparing educational publications, and organizing scientific meetings.

 

Vision

In the field of uro-oncology, the association aims to:

  • Conduct, support, and promote basic science and clinical research studies with national and international participation to generate scientific data.

  • Engage in activities that contribute to the advanced development of the field and the improvement of healthcare service quality based on these studies and findings.

  • Work toward the implementation of a uro-oncology subspecialty training program in Turkey.

  • Organize widespread and impactful public awareness initiatives to increase knowledge and consciousness about urological tumors as part of social responsibility.

  • Organize and support scientific programs such as congresses, symposiums, and workshops—targeting international participation—to ensure the rapid and effective dissemination of up-to-date and accurate information to physicians.

  • Establish a highly respected scientific medical journal indexed in international databases and accepting international submissions in the field.

  • Develop original books and visual educational materials in uro-oncology.

  • Collaborate with public authorities and engage in informative initiatives on various platforms to help shape health policies in uro-oncology based on proven innovations, advancements, and effective methods.
