TURKISH UROONCOLOGY ASSOCIATION SCIENTIFIC AWARD AND SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT RULES

• The Scientific Research Awards presented during the Turkish Urooncology Association Congress are defined as two separate awards for basic and clinical research. The award includes a certificate for all authors, a plaque for the first-named researcher, and participation support for one of the following three meetings requested by the awardees: Interdisciplinary Urooncology Meeting, Urooncology Congress, or Minimal Invasive Urological Surgery Congress. Financial support for the Scientific Research Awards will be requested from companies under the name of Educational Donation to be used at meetings, congresses, and events. This financial contribution will be used under the initiative of the Board of Directors as specified above.
• The Overseas Training Scholarship will be granted to association members who meet the application requirements and submit complete applications, after discussion and decision by the board, as a monthly payment of 1000 (one thousand) US Dollars for 3 (three) months.
• If scientific studies produced in sub-working groups are accepted as oral presentations at international scientific meetings such as AUA, EAU, or ASCO GU, the researcher listed as the first author will receive support for the relevant congress registration fee. This support payment will be made after the researcher provides proof of attendance at the congress.
• If any publication fees are requested by scientific journals accepting scientific studies produced in sub-working groups for publication, payments will be made according to the following criteria:
  • The Turkish Urooncology Association will cover publication fees up to 500 (five hundred) US Dollars for journals ranked Q1 and Q2 in Web of Science.
  • Publication fees for journals ranked Q3 in Web of Science will be covered by the authors.
  • Publication fees requested by national/international journals ranked Q4 in Web of Science that charge for editorial and/or printing processes will be covered by the authors.
